We are is seeking a dedicated and experienced Computer Systems Analyst to lead its IT department and ensure its systems are functioning at their optimal capacity. The ideal
candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the sign and printing industry, with a focus on troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of printing and CNC router equipment. This position requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with production, management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Optimization & Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve IT processes to enhance company efficiency and performance.
- Consult with Management: Work closely with managers to identify the role of IT systems in our business and recommend improvements.
- Research & Implementation of New Technologies: Stay informed about emerging technologies and assess their potential for improving business operations.
- Cost/Benefit Analysis: Prepare reports on the costs and benefits of system upgrades and technology investments.
- System Design & Implementation: Design and implement customized IT systems, including selecting and configuring hardware and software.
- Installation & Configuration: Oversee the installation and configuration of new systems, ensuring they are tailored to the company's needs.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough testing of systems to ensure they function as expected, and resolve any technical issues promptly.
- Training & Documentation: Train end users on system use and prepare user manuals. Develop, document, and revise system design and testing procedures.
- File Preparation: Prepare and maintain sign specifications for permit submittals and ensure proper software and hardware implementation.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot hardware for large-format printing equipment, including print heads, belts, nozzles, and suction systems.
- Printer Profile Management: Manage and modify print profiles for optimal resolution and ink efficiency.
- CNC Router Service & Maintenance: Perform maintenance on CNC routers, including recalibration of spindles and enhancing cooling systems to improve precision and production efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst, with at least 2 years of experience in the sign and large-format printing industry.
- Experience in managing and servicing large-format printers, including troubleshooting hardware issues (print heads, belts, nozzles).
- In-depth understanding of printed software and RIP profiles, with experience creating and optimizing profiles.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience servicing CNC routers, including recalibrating spindles and improving cooling systems.
- Familiarity with Mach 3 software and CAD-based software is a plus.

- Ability to train and guide other team members in system usage and troubleshooting.
Additional Information:
- Travel: Minimal travel required (approximately once per year to attend trade shows and evaluate new equipment).
- Work Schedule: Standard full-time hours, with occasional overtime as needed.
- Reports to: General Management, Project Manager, and Production Lead.
